Folk Art Festival
in Muromtsevo
Are you ready to immerse yourself in Russian culture and history?
You will have such a chance If you visit the settlement of Muromtsevo on the first Saturday in June. On this day every year an eventful Folk Art Festival full of great experiences takes place.
The Festival is held on the territory of Khrapovitsky estate ( an object of cultural heritage of Russia). It is arranged in a big way and worth visiting!
A lot of dance and vocal groups from different parts of Vladimir region perform. There is an exhibition of various works by Russian craftsmen. They show master-classes and any guest can try to sculpt his/her own clay dish or learn to spin.
Guests of the Festival are involved in different Russian traditional competitions and winners get funny and sweety prizes.
Anyone can buy different souvenirs or handycrafts. Sellers are dressed in Russian folk costumes.
A spectacular concert at the end of the day is the most beautiful part of this Festival.
